DoverPhila Gives Back to the Community through Various Donations

DoverPhila Federal Credit Union has always strived to give back to its members, and that attitude is apparent with several contributions the credit union has made to local organizations.

Recently, DoverPhila donated $25,000 to Hospice of Tuscarawas County to help retire the mortgage on their Community Hospice House. That generous donation, along with a previous donation of $30,000, has helped Hospice enhance their quality care with the state-of-the-art facility located in New Philadelphia, OH.

DoverPhila Federal Credit Union also provided substantial donations of $30,000 each to Union Hospital and to Trinity Hospital that aided in building expansions and added to the capital equipment funds. Other donations to local organizations include equal contributions of $1,000 to Tuscarawas Clinic for the Working Uninsured and Dress-a-Child, $1,500 to Dennison Railroad Depot, $2,500 to Rainbow Connection, and various donations ranging from $100 – $500 to Tuscarawas County Senior Center, Fraternal Order of Police Tuscarawas County, National Child Safety Council, Dover Lions Club, Uhrichsville Clay Museum, Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition, Dover Soccer Association, Dover Girls’ Softball, Claymont Foundation, Ohio Swiss Festival, and other various organizations.
